Everything you need to know about why you should build a custom home.
Designing your new house can seem like an incredibly daunting task. There are a lot of decisions to make and little details to think about. You also want to make sure you do not miss anything and that everything is absolutely perfect.
Choosing to build is a big deal. Whether it’s your dream home, a bespoke development, or a major renovation or extension, there will be plenty of decisions to be made and more than a little time and energy (not to mention money!) to be spent.
It’s also a very long process. Getting from design to completion can easily take over 18 months. Throughout this time, you will need to call on the expertise of a wide range of professionals – but none more important than your builder.
In many ways, your builder will guide you through the construction process. They will be your eyes and ears on-site and help you identify and overcome any issues. They will also need to act on your behalf at certain times, liaising with your suppliers and managing all of your trades.
With all this in mind, being able to trust your builder is critical. You need to know that not only can they do the job, but that they understand your vision and have your best interests at heart. You need to feel confident that they respect you, and even when you are not around, they will look out for you and act as if you were.
But with so many builders out there, and most of them seemingly providing the same services, how do you find a good one?
These days, our home is increasingly being seen as a reflection of our lifestyle and per-sonality. As most of us are spending more time at home at the moment, we want to have a space that feels unique and special. We also want to have easy access to all the luxuries that we enjoy the most.
This has led to many people seeking out a custom builder to help them bring their dream home to life. But, while there is no shortage of custom builders in Australia, choosing the right one can be hard.
When it comes to planning your dream home, you have two main options – creating a custom design or choosing an existing floor plan. While having a home that is tailored to your unique requirements may sound ideal, is a bespoke build worth it? Custom home designs are usually marketed as a premium option, but are they really that different from a project home?
Choosing to build a luxury custom home is about so much more than just opulence and extravagance. Luxury custom builders are usually true craftspeople who are committed to creating beautiful, functional spaces tailored to their client's requirements. They are also often creative thinkers who thrive on the challenge of developing unique designs and highly practical solutions.
With that in mind, choosing a luxury custom builder can provide a range of benefits beyond just prestige. Here we look at what these are and why luxury custom builds are so popular.
